The Fargo Railroad Co established in 2013 they have already gathered a loyal fan base and continue to add to their numbers playing shows throughout the UK. What is clear is that these boys enjoy being on stage and love playing the music they are producing.They share a distinct and united love of music with a breadth of appreciation that is truly eclectic, harking back to the roots of country rock and blues, with touches of Lynryd Skynrd, All-man Brothers, Little Feat and the 70s sound of Cash, Young and Dylan, they appeal to the contemporary Blackberry Smoke and Jason Isbell fan bases.
They are one of the hardest working bands around, touring and recording their songs of life’s trials and triumphs, in a traditional line up of acoustic and electric guitars, drums and bass. With two studio and a live album already in their back catalogue, shows in every part of the UK, two tours abroad, a UK support tour for Hayseed Dixie, and a constant sale of trucker caps and t-shirts, they released their latest album, Time and Grace, in the spring of 2024.
Stafford Galli, a folk rock band from Doncaster now into their 30th year, who boast a career of sell out shows, a truly impressive discography of material, including two fantastic studio albums, as well as support sets with the likes of Edwin Starr, Wilko Johnson and The Waterboys! 🤯
It is an absolute delight to be welcoming back Stafford Galli to Wroot Rocks Doncaster on Saturday 9th November for this co-headliner show with the amazing The Fargo Railroad Co.

The bright Red Music festival features an ecectic array of talent from around the UK. All taking place on one stage. Opening the festival will be Teesside madcaps GROWING OLD DISGRACEFULLY, followed by Brothers in Arms singer PHIL CAFFREY. Next up is South Shields singer PATRICK GOSLING with a blend of Indie Rock meets Americana, before London duo OOBERFUSE light up the stage with Electronica. The afternoon solo acts close with an acoustic perfomance from BRIAN 'NASHER' NASH, guitarist from the legendary multi million selling FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD. The evening shennanigans begin with the NARCOTIC HEARTS, a Buzzcocks tinged post-glam mash up. Before PLUMHALL line up next, a must see live act who recently supported Fairport Convention on their UK tour.
The Friday night party properly gets started when ViX, frontwoman from the legendary 80's act FUZZBOX take to the stage...Pink Sunshine anyone? The main stage then welcomes one of the most exciting new bands in Newcastle...PARK VIEW, a must see local band. Another local act graces the stage when Northumberland's SAM SHIELDS rocks up with his sassy blend of Americana. Next up is one of the UK's finest songwriters, ALISTAIR GRIFFIN. He appeared on BBC's Fame Academy and has since become one of the country's most respected songwriters.
The festival closes with the headline act, FARGO RAILROAD CO. With two studio and a live album already in their back catalogue, shows in every part of the UK, two tours abroad, a UK support tour for Hayseed Dixie, and a constant sale of trucker caps and t-shirts, the band deliver a sound harking back to the roots of country rock and blues.
